Fall Hikes with the Central Oregon Nordic Club

The Central Oregon Nordic Club has several hikes planned for Sundays in October & November. Hikes start from the DilLusso Coffee Shop on Galveston Ave. The hikes are subject to change without notice and may become ski or snowshoe trips depending on the weather. Four Winds Foundation Offers Sacred Native Teachings in Sisters

All are welcome to attend these 12 week classes on primitive skills, beading, leather work, drumming & singing, as well as ceremonial understandings. Classes focus on understanding the native perspectives and way as well as how they can be applied in this 21st Century. Green Drinks is a monthly informal happy hour gathering of sustainability minded people and businesses. Our host for this month is Boxcar Productions and Enduring Log Finishes. 5:00-7:00pm. Metolius Preserve Tree Hunt Hosted by the Deschutes Land Trust

Join the Land Trust for this fun, festive annual event! Search for the perfect holiday tree while helping restore the native forests of the Metolius Preserve. Bring your own hand saw, rope and dress for the weather. We'll provide warm drinks! The Tree Hunt will be held weather permitting. Deschutes Chapter of Trout Unlimited - Monthly Meeting

Trout Unlimited will have their regular monthly meeting at 6 PM at the Central Oregon Environmental Center. Meetings are open to the public and usually have a speaker on a current topic of interest. Join the Deschutes Chapter of TU and see what they have in the works.

Attendance is required at ONE home ownership orientation in order to receive an Application for Homeownership. The orientations will be held at 6:00 pm at the Bend Habitat office.
