The
Central Oregon Environmental Center (COEC) is a center
for environmental education, collaboration and
action. On July 1st, 2008, we merged with
reSource, bringing our combined 50 years of
environmental service in Central Oregon under one
roof. Our programs help businesses, consumers and
youth make choices every day that reduce their impact
on the environment as well as engage in local
environmental issues and volunteer opportunities.
We host free presentations and workshops from our 39
member groups every month at our public facility on 16
NW Kansas Avenue in downtown Bend.
COEC has signed on as a member of the No Oregon Child Left Inside
Coalition. The Coalition was created to find new
ways to encourage kids to experience nature and learn
about the environment. Learn more by visiting
their website or
